President Obama Calls The Bill “Misguided”?

President Obama calls Arizona’s SB1070 misguided. What business does he have making statements about a sovereign states bill? He has all the “statements” but none of the answers. The term “illegal immigrant” means….now get this…..ILLEGAL immigrants. All Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and the legislature is doing, and allowing the police to do, is uphold the law. This is misguided? This is finally upholding the law of the land. How this could be seen as potential legal issue is beyond most rational thinkers. I think Obama is a little afraid of this bill because when he travels to Arizona in the future, he may be asked to prove his nationality.

Meanwhile, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (Ill.) is angry enough about the bill to call for all Latinos to boycott the November elections. The Democrats are a mess. Fun, but embarrassing, to watch! I can’t help but to wonder if Gutierrez was talking to, and about, legal or illegal immigrants.

My hat is off to Governor Brewer for doing what is right for the people she represents. It’s refreshing to see a public SERVANT serving the PUBLIC.

The Declaration of Independence
