In a story in Reuters today, the Obama administration has agreed to open up talks regulating and limiting arms trading. That sounds good on the surface, but when you read the fine print it gives other countries say in the laws of this country. Regulating our right to keep and bear arms (a tight guaranteed by our Constitution) out of existence! This would not have to passed or OK’d by our Congress once the treaty is ratified. Treaties, once signed, are binding and Congress has no further say in it. Of course the treaty will have to be ratified to begin with, but with the way things are going…..
