No Crosses On Utah Highways…

It’s funny that in Utah, crosses can’t be placed in view of the public because a group from Texas, American Atheists, Inc., can’t tolerate any Christian references, but in New York City they (the atheists) say nothing about a mosque being built two blocks from Ground Zero. Atheists are at least consistent. They don’t like references to the One True God. But referencing a god of murder and oppression, like allah, is OK. At least they’re transparent.

Where are the atheists in New York?

BACA is my favorite non-profit. My brother is the President of the Minnesota Chapter. I got a chance to vacation with him this past month and enjoyed hearing the stories of the lives that have been touched by the men and women of the organization. Students at Lincoln Memorial Told to Stop Singing National Anthem

So…………………………….. We are no longer allowed, in this “Free Country”, to sing The (Our) National Anthem at the Lincoln Memorial!!?? I’m not even sure what I want to say about this. There is nothing good that I can say. When we are no longer free to sing the very song that epitomizes what this country stands for, and how it continues to stand, I’m at a total loss.
The Fox News article closes with this statement “We need to make certain that all other visitors that don’t want to be a part of that or just choose to be tourists are able to do so in the same light that probably President Lincoln wanted – which is completely content neutral,”
This guy obviously doesn’t know anything about our 16th President!!!!!….and if people don’t like it shouldn’t they be politely invited to kiss our….well, our donkey? What a load of politically correct crap! Our 1st Amendment Rights apparently mean nothing anymore. The loss of our freedoms is becoming numbing. The speed that these freedoms are being lost is blinding. I’m afraid that if something isn’t done soon the downward arch of the U.S. will be unstoppable. We need to step up our efforts to vote the leftist out the fall and then again in 2012!

Our Country “IS” In Distress!

A Michigan eye doctor flew his flag upside down over the Independence day (or should I say “dependence day”) weekend. Not in protest of the U.S., but simply to say the United States is in a state of distress. The U.S. flag code states that the flag is only to be flown in times of great distress to let those approaching know there is trouble. I say Well Done Doctor Thomas Byrd! We are certainly in distressing times. Some saw the demonstration as disrespect but Dr. Byrd says that nothing could be further from the truth. He was simply stating the obvious. WE ARE IN TROUBLE!

Travel Warnings Are Posted In Southern Arizona!

It is no longer safe to travel in our own country due to the lack of leadership in the Federal Government. Part of the responsibility of Government is to protect our borders….dah. So why aren’t they doing it and why are we not holding their feet to the flame on it? Is it complacency, stupidity, voter base, or something else that allows this danger to our country to continue? It defies logic that we are not protected here but our men and women of the armed services are scattered all over the globe protecting everyone else. Why can’t we get the same protection here? It doesn’t seem all that complicated to me as to how to stop it, so why the danger?
